From Project to Product:
Our Production Process
1. Tooling design
Tooling design comes from the collaboration of our engineers, skilled technicians and the customer: the main focus is the development of the best design to ensure customer’s satisfaction.
Once the characteristics to developed have been identified, our technicians realize the tool geometry of the casting tool, using the latest software CAD/CAM.
2. Tooling manufacturing
Once the drawings have been analysed, the casting tool can be manufactured. We have four 5-axis CNCs for steel machining, a CNC turning line, a wire EDM system and a surface grinding.
3. Die casting
Once the casting tool has been manufactured, the die casting process begins. We have 23 automatized machines with closing force from 200T to 660T.
4. Finishing
The ovens for heat treatment allow to optimize the material characteristics for resistance, hardness and dimensional stability. Tumbling and shot blasting systems can provide superficial finishing to the produced parts.
5. Painting
Powder painting ensures to the final product a fine aesthetic and better resistance to external factors. Without using chemical solvents, it is ecologically sustainable.
The coating guarantees uniformity of the surface and a resistant coverage, necessary for products which will be exposed to atmospheric agents.
6. Machining
In our machining departments, we have several kinds of CNCs: 9 one spindle machines, 11 two-spindles machines, 4 four-spindles machines, 2 turning stations and a masking station.
Some of these machines have automation, washing and QR lasering system which enables us to realize components in line our customers’ requirements.
7. Assembly
The department dedicated to assembly includes several stations, some of them were designed and manufactured by us on the basis of the products specifications required by the customer.
8. Quality system
The quality inspection involves each step of the process, from raw material acceptance to final inspection of the finished product.
Above all the standard measurements equipment, our technicians have coordinates measuring machines and computerized tomography.
